Mainline Human

A “normal” human, descended directly from the species which evolved naturally on Earth. Modern mainline humans have experienced significant genetic drift from their ancestors, due to the wide proliferation of genetic engineering, which has been used to eliminate harmful genes and promote useful ones in all but the most traditional of cultures. As a result, the typical Mainline human will live an average of 122 years of age and enjoy good health well into their 8th decade. Cancer and other genetics-related illnesses are virtually unheard of. The majority of humanity are Mainline humans.
