A single-planet nation in the Sagittarius Arm, approximately 90 degrees spinward of Earth on a mostly-temperate planet with high mountain ranges, three continents and six billion inhabitants. The name refers to both the nation and the planet. Struck by a Reanimation plague in 2757CE, the planet was shortly thereafter invaded by a previously unknown Terran subspecies known as the Hive, but a counter-invasion by the Imperial Defense Force reconquered the planet before the Hive could formalize their conquest. It was slated to be returned to the control of the survivors, under the aegis of the New Canadian Provisional Government by the first months of 2758CE.
